Mid-Conversational Merge
at subSamson 2010

Mid-Conversational Merge is a spontaneous cross-disciplinary sound and visual conversation.

During the performance visitors participated in the direct alteration of a graphite wall drawing while the artist responded with superimposed manipulation through overhead projection. The performance also included a sound element led by guest vocal percussionist Shodekeh from Baltimore. The goal was to highlight the tangible and physical experience of intuitive creation through the merge of cross-disciplinary conversation. Duration 3 hours.
