Each panel of these diptychs are painted from different trees on different locations and put together as a pair in the studio. Looking for a particular combination I searched for and captured these awesome trees keeping the other side in mind. Each side is bringing a unique quality to the piece. One side is painted in rural settings where trees are remaining wild, while the other side captures the protected urban trees and uniting the two as one. Confusing enough some urban trees look just as distressed as their wild pair.
